Katie Kyzar, LLMSW
I’m passionate about supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life's challenges and work toward wellness. Many of the people I work with are deeply feeling individuals who need support in managing emotions, setting boundaries, and building self-confidence. My clients seek therapy for clarity, coping strategies, and personal growth—whether that means shifting negative thought patterns, regulating emotions, or developing healthy coping skills.
I draw on techniques from CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches to customize therapy that meets each client where they are. |
Client goals often include gaining emotional regulation skills, reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms, improving communication and relationships, developing self-compassion and confidence, and healing from past wounds or trauma.
By offering a compassionate ear and thoughtful guidance, I help clients make meaningful progress and create lasting change. As a Christian, I welcome the opportunity to integrate faith into our work for those who desire it.
